Slip-and-fall accidents often occur due to the negligence of a property owner. If a property is not properly maintained, it can create a hazardous environment that may lead to injury. This can include falls due to liquids or foreign substances, unkempt construction sites, and other unsafe property issues. If you have been injured because of dangerous property conditions, Boyer Law Group can help you get compensation for the losses you’ve incurred from your injury.
**Important Note: If you’ve been injured in an accident, you need to seek medical treatment IMMEDIATELY to preserve your rights in recovery. Don’t wait, or you risk the possibility of insurance denying your claim. Then, call Boyer Law Group to set up continuing medical treatment once you're out of the ER / hospital. And to prevent loss of earnings, document your time off work diligently following the accident.
Every injury is different, so every personal injury case will be a bit different, too. The pricing all depends on the settlement amount. This means that you don’t have to put any money down upfront — all costs will be paid at the completion of the case.
Boyer Law Group receives 33% of the settlement if the case is resolved before trial, and 40% if the case goes to trial. (Most cases are resolved before trial.) In California, there is a $435 court filing fee, and other fees are dependent upon the needs of the case. These kinds of fees will vary from case to case, but some examples include:
Court motion fees
Mediator fee, if the case can be resolved through mediation
Deposition/court reporter fee, if depositions are necessary
Costs to hire an expert witness
Lastly, medical costs like medical bills, Medicare, and lien-based treatment are negotiated down from the initial amount and paid. The rest of the money from the settlement goes straight to you.
